Emirates will fly five times a week to the popular tourist destination from Dubai

Brandi Hodges, 40, was reportedly travelling to Dubai for a holiday
The offer, covering economy and business class fares, is valid on bookings made from May 13 – 30
The senior Emirates executive joined the airline in 2011
The four times weekly service will be launched in July
Emirates has been seeking additional flights to Canada for years
The new charges come on top of advanced seat selection fees for some economy fares introduced last year
New double-decker service to the South Island gateway complements Auckland A380 flights
The contract has been extended for three years
The Dubai-based airline will begin operating flights to Tripoli from October 29.
Emirates’ chairman Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed al-Maktoum clarified that the deal will not include a revenue-sharing agreement.
