The group said that it is looking to fill 180 open positions ranging from pilots, cabin crew, engineers, IT professionals, and customer service agents for both Emirates Airlines and dnata. The latest recruitment campaign for cabin crew and pilots follows a record year of growth for the airline and the global aviation sector. The UAE-based aviation company is also preparing to receive a new fleet of Airbus A350 and Boeing 777X aircraft from 2024, amid a boom in air travel. Olivier Graumann, senior vice president, Human Resources, Emirates Group, said, “The Emirates Group has built an unwavering reputation as an employer of choice and a leading force in aviation. In the last financial year we received approximately 2.7 million applications globally for roles across the organisation. We use the latest technology, such as digital assessments, artificial intelligence and other top-notch recruitment systems to shortlist, select and respond to candidates in the most efficient and effective way. Our focus is on hiring the best talents, the brightest minds, and the most suitable for the various roles that support and drive our growth and expansion in the future.” Recruitment open for Emirates cabin crew and ground staff positions Emirates said it has set up an open day as well as invite-only events, covering hundreds of cities as it looks to fill cabin crew roles. It said the recruitment process is designed to be completed within a day, and candidates are contacted within 48 hours of the assessment. The airline is also hosting open days to recruit pilots in the UK and Ireland. This comes after holding similar events in Budapest, Madrid and Lisbon in June. In addition to these positions, the group said it hopes to recruit more than 400 IT professionals for a range of roles in software engineering, DevOps, hybrid cloud, agile delivery, technical product management, digital workplace, cyber security, IT architecture, innovation, and service management. The aviation group is also looking to hire customer service agents at Emirates Airport Services, dnata, Marhaba service and the contact centres. Emirates Airlines, the largest international airline in the world, operates one of the youngest and most advanced fleets in the world, consisting of 260 Airbus A380 and Boeing 777 aircraft, serving about 150 destinations on six continents. It has a diverse workforce – with individuals from more than 140 nationalities, speaking about 130 languages. The UAE-based air carrier said it concluded its fiscal year on March 31 with more than 102,000 employees, having welcomed 17,160 employees in various roles throughout the year.
