Rajen Kilachand The Dubai-headquartered Dodsal Group’s diverse fields of specialisations range from engineering, procurement and construction, to trading, manufacturing and the food business. With as much razor-focused business acumen that Kilachand applied to transform the fortunes of the company after taking over the reins from his father, the octogenarian has now devoted himself full-time to philanthropy projects across the globe including education, community, health and culture. Not only did he donate a staggering $25m to his alma mater Boston University in 2011, here in the UAE, he has also donated to Dubai Cares, an initiative by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum to educate children in several developing countries around the world.
