Last year, Prince Alwaleed was reappointed as KHC’s chairman for a three-year term, while earlier this year, a KHC affiliate completed the sale of a 23.75 per cent stake in Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts at an enterprise value of $10bn. Meanwhile, Alwaleed Philanthropies, the humanitarian organisation he chairs, has spent over $4bn on social welfare and started over 1,000 projects in more than 189 countries over four decades.
