Technogym to offer live and on-demand training videos through its equipment consoles

Gym equipment manufacturer Technogym will offer live and on-demand training video content through its equipment consoles and on its ‘Mywellness’ app.

Technogym Live will aggregate Technogym’s proprietary content as well as sessions created by fitness clubs. Customers can choose from trainer-led workouts, group classes, outdoor virtual training, training routines, exercises or entertainment content.

Headlining Technogym Live is trainer-led “Technogym Sessions”, a collection of on-demand one-on-one workouts available across its cardio products. The library includes training videos – with different durations and training focus – led by trainers from London, New York, Milan and Los Angeles. The lessons are available in English, Italian and Spanish. New languages and trainers will be added soon will be added, the company said.

The company has also created Technogym Coach which it says is an AI tool to help users personalises their training experience. Technogym Coach manages users’ data and guides them by suggesting different training options based on their needs and tastes, the company says.

Technogym Live also offers fitness clubs or trainers the possibility to create their digital content – live or on-demand classes – and stream them to their members at home through the newly released Mywellness App 5.0.

The platform also offers entertainment options that include TV channels, social media, Netflix and gaming and news-based apps.

“Technogym Live is a unique and revolutionary training experience that offers users the possibility to access engaging and personalized training contents at the gym, at home and on the go,” said Technogym’s founder and CEO Nerio Alessandri.

“Thanks to its completely new user experience, Technogym Live will provide fitness clubs an innovative tool to innovate their business model and offer their programs,” he added.

Over 15 million people are connected to Technogym’s Mywellness platform in 18.000 fitness facilities all over the world, the company says.

The Technogym Ecosystem is compatible with third-party fitness apps and wearable devices, including Apple Watch.
