The expanded partnership combines Oracle’s distributed cloud, AI infrastructure and generative AI services with NVIDIA’s accelerated computing prowess and advanced generative AI software, resulting in the creation of AI factories that empower governments and enterprises to harness the power of AI. These AI factories represent a significant leap forward in technology deployment. They can run cloud services locally, providing governments and organisations with a range of operational controls and the assurance of data security within their borders. This initiative aligns with sovereign goals, fostering economic growth and diversification while safeguarding sensitive data. Oracle’s CEO, Safra Catz, emphasised the importance of digital sovereignty in an era dominated by AI innovations. She highlighted the necessity for countries and organisations to protect their most valuable data while embracing the transformative potential of AI. Jensen Huang, the CEO of NVIDIA, echoed these sentiments, emphasising that data sovereignty is not just a technological imperative but also a cultural and economic one. By leveraging NVIDIA’s full-stack AI platform and Oracle’s Enterprise AI across various Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) offerings, customers can gain greater control over their operations, location, and security, thereby supporting their digital sovereignty initiatives. Governments worldwide are increasingly investing in AI infrastructure to drive cultural and economic ambitions. With access to over 100 cloud and AI services spanning infrastructure and applications across 66 cloud regions in 26 countries, customers have the tools they need for IT migration, modernisation and innovation. NVIDIA, Crowdstrike partner to offer cybersecurity solutions In recent news, CrowdStrike and NVIDIA announced a collaboration to integrate NVIDIA’s AI computing services with CrowdStrike’s Falcon XDR platform, which is renowned for its AI-native approach. By merging Falcon platform data with NVIDIA’s GPU-optimised AI pipelines and software, including new NVIDIA NIM microservices, the collaboration will enable customers with custom and secure generative AI model creation. CrowdStrike’s 2024 Global Threat Report reveals that the average breakout time has plummeted to just 62 minutes. Recognising the urgent need for AI-powered security solutions, George Kurtz, co-founder, and CEO at CrowdStrike, emphasised the pivotal role of AI in cybersecurity. Huang echoed the sentiment, emphasising the significance of data processing in cybersecurity. The collaboration leverages CrowdStrike’s extensive security telemetry, generating petabytes of data daily through the Falcon platform’s virtuous data cycle. This integration enables Falcon users to harness AI-powered solutions, empowering them to thwart breaches more efficiently than ever before. With access to rich contextual data from the Falcon platform, customers can address novel, domain-specific use cases, enhance threat hunting, detect supply chain attacks, identify anomalies in user behaviour, and preemptively defend against emerging exploits and vulnerabilities.
