Icons of Influence Vidya M Chhabria Chairperson, Jumbo Group Vidya Chhabria has been at the helm of Jumbo Group since 2002, following the demise of her husband, who founded the electronics giant in 1974. She has been steering the company’s growth since then, scripting the group’s multi-brand strategy and directing its foray into the business-to-business segment. With more than 2,500 employees, Jumbo is home to more than 60 global brands, including Sony, Dyson, Apple, Samsung, Hisense, and Lenovo. The group also offers aftermarket services for 15 categories, including consumer electronics, professional products, durables, home appliances, mobility, and IT products.
