Home Industry Telecoms Etisalat to offer free wifi in the UAE during National Day Residents will be able to access the service in malls, cafes, beaches and parks by Staff writer November 27, 2016 UAE telecoms operator Etisalat is offering free wifi access across popular areas in the country to mark the 45th UAE National Day. Residents will be able to access the service in malls, cafes, beaches and parks from November 30 to December 3, 2016, the operator said in a statement. The free service is being made available through the ‘UAE WiFi by Etisalat’ network. The ‘UAE WiFi by Etisalat’ network offers free internet access at more than 300 locations across the UAE to registered mobile data users. The high-speed wifi service, available on board buses to Sharjah and Abu Dhabi, is part of the smart city programme currently being implemented in Dubai.
