Dubai warns of legal action against individuals leaking classified government information
Punitive measures will be taken if information related to confidential and sensitive government documents and worksheets is leaked
Dubai government authorities have identified individuals who leaked classified documents through messaging applications and social media platforms.
The act, a criminal offense, will result in legal action.
Furthermore, punitive measures will be taken if information related to confidential and sensitive government documents and worksheets is leaked, Dubai Media Office said.

The General Secretariat of the Executive Council of Dubai has highlighted the importance of following protocols whilst exchanging government information to maintain its privacy.
According to HR laws pertinent to the Government of Dubai, during the service of an employee and thereafter, he/she must maintain the confidentiality of the information he accesses, in his capacity as the holder of the post and must not disclose it.
