Update: Dubai airport resumes departure operations after Emirates crash
An Emirates plane coming from India crash-landed at the Dubai airport on Wednesday
Dubai International Airport has resumed departure operations from 18.30pm local time, operator Dubai Airports has announced.
DXB will resume departure operations starting 18.30 UAE local time with larger aircraft given first priority.

All departures from Dubai airport were suspended since Wednesday afternoon after an Emirates aircraft from India crash-landed.
Flight EK521, operating from the Indian city of Thiruvananthapuram to Dubai, crashed when landing at the Dubai International Airport at about 12.45pm local time.
All the 300 people onboard were evacuated safely.
Emirates has said it is expecting an eight-hour network wide delay, with the following flights cancelled –
