Dior opens a new boutique in Dubai Mall

On offer is limited-edition boutique-exclusive merchandise to mark the opening of the store

It’s been only a few weeks since the Fashion Avenue opened at Dubai Mall. The extension which has added one million square feet of built-up area to the sprawling mall will soon be home to 150 luxury brands, with many of them racing to open shop here.

The latest is French fashion house Dior who opened the doors to their new boutique here last week. Visitors are greeted with tastefully done interiors that include a Galet Table by Guillaume Piechaud and another piece by Maria Pergay. The herringbone-pattern parquet floor is a nod to Christian Dior’s preference to for all things 18^th century.

The space caters to both Dior Homme as well as womenswear. Dior is wasting no time in getting its customers up to speed with the latest fashion and accessories. You’ll find several pieces from the Fall 2018 collection already on display at the store.

There handbags, jewellery, watches, sunglasses, ready-to-wear, shoes, suits and several other objects of desire now available at this boutique. But the one object that we’re particularly excited about is the gold-edition Dior Homme X Bogarde bike. This is the only boutique in the region where you’ll find this bike. It’s limited to just 100 units worldwide, so we’d suggest you move fast in case you want one.

To commemorate the opening of this store, Dior is also offering boutique-exclusive limited edition merchandise like 16 pairs of crocodile-leather detailed sneakers and 30 pairs of sunglasses. Other signature pieces you’ll find here include DiorAddict bags, Milieu du Siècle rose gold and diamond rings, besides the popular Dior Homme T-shirt with golden bee embroidery.

Dior is in fine company when you consider that its neighbours at the Fashion Avenue include Gucci, Prada, Louis Vuitton and Hermès, among others. Last year, 80 million people visited Dubai Mall. With the Fashion Avenue now open and players like Dior making their presence felt, we might see a number of them making a beeline for this specific extension in the mall, with a credit card, maybe even two, at the ready.
