UAE weather update: Overcast conditions, rainfall expected for rest of the week

Partly cloudy to overcast conditions at times, with potential rainfall is expected during the rest of the week, the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) has said.

Meanwhile, cloud formation with rainfall and fresh winds are anticipated over the country’s eastern areas today. “Light to moderate winds freshening at times especially Westward causing blowing dust [are expected] during daytime,” the NCM forecasted in its weather bulletin.

The UAE recorded its lowest temperature of 20°C at the Ras Al Khaimah International Airport at 5am local time today.

Temperatures across internal areas in the UAE are expected to scale to as high as 43°C on Monday, with lows touching 16°C. Meanwhile, temperatures will hover between 18-40°C in the coastal areas and islands, and between 15-32°C among the mountains.

Humidity will hover 20-85 per cent in the coastal areas and islands, between 15-75 per cent across the internal areas, and between 10-65 per cent among the mountains.
