Thunder and flashes of lightning accompanied the early morning showers that lasted until 5am. However, the rainfall resumed shortly before 8 am and are expected to continue in varying intensities throughout the day. Orange alert for rough sea The weather authority has issued an orange alert for rough sea in the Arabian Gulf with wave heights expected to reach 9 feet. According to the Windy weather app, further rainfall is expected in both emirates, with conditions forecasted to improve by approximately 7 pm.
