Several parts of the country, have witnessed rains in varying intensities, reported UAE’s National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) on Thursday, October 26.
Some regions of the UAE also received heavy showers, with more expected later in Dubai, Ras Al Khaimah, Sharjah, and Fujairah.
The weather bureau has issued a yellow alert for much of Abu Dhabi and Dubai, forecasting rain and low visibility.
Abu Dhabi Police also urged motorists to exercise caution due to reduced visibility.
UAE to experience wet weather conditions until Friday
The NCM has predicted that the country will face rainfall until Friday, October 27.
The authority had issued a warning, advising residents to be cautious and avoid flooded valleys.
The NCM report showed convective cloud formation associated with rainfall and fresh to strong winds with a speed of 45 km/hr over scattered areas of the UAE on October 26.
