Taking to Twitter, the UAE’s Public Prosecution stressed that whoever publicly performs an indecent act shall be subject to a fine of between Dhs1,000 and Dhs50,000, according to article 358 of the UAE Federal Penalties law. A repeat offender will face imprisonment for a period of not less than three months and a fine of up to Dhs100,000, or one of the two, it said.
