UAE to offer multiple-entry tourist visa to visitors attending FIFA World Cup 2022

The UAE has announced it will offer a multiple-entry tourist visa to Hayya Card holders attending the FIFA World Cup 2022 in Qatar, allowing them to enter the UAE multiple times over a period of 90 days.

The programme is part of the UAE’s initiatives to support Qatar in hosting the FIFA World Cup 2022, reported the state news agency, WAM.

The Hayya Card is mandatory for all travellers to Qatar who visit the country between November 1, 2022, and January 23, 2023.

According to the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Port Security, the visa fees have been reduced to Dhs100 and will be paid once for the whole period.

The visa can be extended for another 90 days according to the conditions, procedures and normal fees in line with the UAE’s current visa regulations.

Citizens of visa-exempt countries can enter and stay in the UAE according to the existing rules.

How to apply
Hayya card holders can apply for the multiple-entry tourist visa through the website, www.icp.gov.ae, by choosing “Smart Channels”, and then selecting “Public Services”, followed by choosing “Hayya Card Holders” Visa and completing data and documents and paying the applicable fees.
