The board meeting held on September 17, also approved the appointment of Ahmad Julfar, as the managing director of the company, it said in a filing on Dubai Financial Market on September 20. Julfar, a telecom veteran, also operated as a board member of the company, the statement read. The telco reported a net income of Dhs355m for Q1 2020, down 21 per cent compared to Dhs449m in the corresponding period last year.
