It is located in the Sheikh Zayed Exhibitions and Conferences Hall and provides free services to all citizens and the university’s students and staff, reported news agency WAM. The centre was launched in cooperation with the Ajman Medical Zone and Tamouh Health Care and is part of an academic partnership between Ajman University and Tamouh Health Care. It offers both Covid-19 PCR nasal swab tests as well as the rapid DPI testing. The centre operates for 12 hours daily from Saturday through to Thursday (it is closed on Fridays). It has designated rooms for men and women. Those who want to undergo a Covid-19 test or receive the vaccine are required present a copy of their Emirates ID. In-classroom learning across all schools and nurseries in Ajman were also suspended indefinitely last month.
