The UAE government has issued a warning to its citizens over the threat of Hurricane Hillary which is predicted to bring severe floods to the US states of California, and Nevada.

The UAE Consulate in Los Angeles told citizens in the US to “excise caution” as the state of California braces for Hurricane Hillary, which was downgraded to a Category 1 storm on August 20.

Hurricane Hillary is the first tropical storm to form off the US West Coast since 1939.
