The prices per litre are therefore as follows: Super 98: Dhs1.91 Special 95: Dhs1.8 Diesel: 2.06 This is the second month in a row that prices have remained unchanged. The price of Super 98 petrol was slashed 11.6 per cent from Dhs2.16 in March, while diesel prices were lowered by 8.4 per cent from the Dhs2.25 per litre level in March. Global oil prices have rallied nearly 70 per cent this month, following cuts that were agreed to in April. In related news, the UAE’s Ministry of Climate Change and Environment (MOCCAE) said this week that it had recorded a sharp drop in the concentration of major air pollutants from February to April, attributed mainly due to the movement restrictions that were in place due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
