The UAE flag has set a new precedent ahead of the country’s 48th National Day.
Dubai Crown Prince, Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, shared a video on his official Instagram account, showcasing the UAE flag setting a new world record.
The caption, read in part: “Another proud moment as our nation’s flag sets a new World Record for the largest flag flown in free fall measuring 144.28 m².”
UAE is celebrating its 48th National Day on December 2. The UAE government had announced holidays from December 1-3 to mark Commemoration Day and National Day.
