UAE leaders congratulate President of Pakistan on Independence Day

President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has sent a message of congratulations to President Dr Arif Alvi of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan on the occasion of his country’s Independence Day.

The country is celebrating its 77th Independence Day on August 14, 2023.

Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai and Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Presidential Court, have conveyed similar messages to President Alvi and Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar on the occasion.

Pakistan’s Independence Day: A wish from ISS

Meanwhile, Sultan AlNeyadi, the Emirati astronaut, extended his Independence Day wishes to Pakistanis by sharing an image of the country taken from space.

AlNeyadi expressed his appreciation for the strong UAE-Pakistan relationship in a social media post and tweeted,”Happy Independence Day to all Pakistanis, especially those living in the UAE. As one of the largest expat communities in my country, we have lived together for years and learned a lot about your rich culture. Here’s your capital, Islamabad, from space.” .
