Sheikh Mohamed arrived in Rahim Yar Khan, and was received by Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, as well as a number of ministers and senior officials.

During the meeting, the two sides reviewed their historical ties and opportunities of enhancing joint cooperation, official news agency WAM reported.

They also discussed cooperation paths, especially in the fields of economy, trade and development. Several regional and global issues of mutual concern were also reviewed.

Prime Minister Sharif welcomed the visit of Sheikh Mohamed to Pakistan, stressing “that it represents a strong drive towards developing the relations of the two friendly countries.”

Sheikh Mohamed’s visit to Pakistan follows PM Sharif’s visit to the UAE earlier this month.
