A UAE-based online learning platform is inviting individuals as well as public and private institutions worldwide to contribute educational content to its open-source platform.

Badiri E-Academy says its online platform welcomes individuals and institutions who seek to maximise their outreach by connecting students, job seekers and entrepreneurs around the globe with their academic courses, vocational training and workshop materials, and research papers in both English and Arabic.

Badiri E-Academy is an initiative of the Badiri Education and Development Academy, the education and capacity building arm of NAMA Women Advancement Establishment (NAMA),

Dr. Mona Al Ali, manager of Badiri Education and Development Academy, said that the E-Academy aims to reach one million beneficiaries over the next three years, especially entrepreneurs and employees looking to develop their skills in business management, project and self-development, by expanding its offerings to include content in seven languages, including Arabic, English, Spanish, Russian, Urdu, French and Spanish. The content is available to learners for free

“The initiative has been designed to enrich our open-source learning platform with new, innovative and varied materials from a multitude of sources that will serve as a single point of reference, allowing users to not just learn and upskill themselves, but also analyse and compare the available resources and offer valuable feedback to our content partners,” added Dr. Ali.

Those who participate will be duly acknowledged for original content on the academy’s website and smartphone application. The partner profile and bio will be displayed alongside their content and linked to their website. Course materials will be subtitled or translated by Badiri E-Academy from English to Arabic and vice versa. Partners may also be mentioned in the press materials featured on the E-Academy’s marketing collaterals and at events, the organisation said.

The E-Academy invites interested parties to submit content in the following categories: Business, Culture, Health & Wellness, Theories & Sciences, STEM, Women Studies, Professional & Personal Development Skills, and Creative Industries. It is open to content creators with original content as well as those with new ideas they desire to develop in collaboration with Badiri.
