Home Industry Technology TCL launches new Blackberry smartphone in Dubai The Blackberry Motion will be available in the UAE and Saudi later this month by Staff Writer October 8, 2017 Hong Kong-based TCL Communication has launched its latest Blackberry smartphone in Dubai at the Gitex technology show. The Blackberry Motion is the company’s second Blackberry device after reaching a licensing agreement with the Canadian firm last year. It features a full touchscreen 5.5-inch display, dual-sim functionality and dust and water resistance. It is claimed to have an extra long battery life of 32 hours. The device will become available in the UAE and Saudi this month for Dhs1,699 ($463). Alain Lejeune, global general manager for BlackBerry Mobile, indicated availability in other countries would be limited. Today’s unveiling comes after the company sold out of its touch/keyboard hybrid KEYone device on the day of its UAE launch earlier this year.
