The directive was issued by the Sharjah Private Education Authority (SPEA) and Sharjah Emergency Crisis & Disaster Management Team, the announcement of which was confirmed via a tweet by the SPEA. On Thursday, the UAE reported 3,525 new Covid-19 cases. The country’s health ministry also reported 18 deaths during the past 24 hours, the highest daily rise in fatalities since the virus broke out in the country last year.
