The airline tops the YouGov BrandIndex 2019 Workforce Rankings in the UAE for the second time in a row, followed by Apple. The rankings were compiled by asking respondents, “Would you be proud or embarrassed to work for this brand?”, over the past 12 months. In Saudi Arabia, tech firm Apple replaced dairy firm Almarai at the top, and was followed by its smartphone brand iPhone. The past year also saw a number of brands make fresh entries into the top 10 lists. Samsung and Etihad Airways were new entrants in the UAE, while Al Rajhi Bank and Galaxy (Chocolates) entered the Saudi list. YouGov also revealed the 10 brands that made the largest improvement to their reputation scores over the past 12 months. In the UAE, smartphone brands have made a considerable improvement to their reputation scores over the past year, the report found. Two of the biggest smartphone brands: iPhone and Samsung Galaxy, make up the top 10 list and Huawei is the third most improved brand of the past year. Warner Bros. World, which opened its doors to the public last year, was identified as the most improved brand of the past year in the UAE, while Huawei emerged as the top improver in Saudi Arabia. Others that improved their rankings in the UAE include Netflix, Huawei, Coca-Cola, Downy, Al Ansari Exchange, Starbucks, UAE Exchange, Colgate and Baskin Robbins. In Saudi, the list included several food and beverage brands such as Coca-Cola, Maestro Pizza, McDonald’s, Kinder, and Vimto. 0 Comments
