Home Industry Transport Dubai public transport timings updated – RTA These new timings for public transport services will remain effect until further notice by Varun Godinho May 21, 2020 In light of the new sterilisation timing that has come into effect from Wednesday, May 20, Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has updated the operational hours for all public transport services in Dubai. Officials announced earlier this week that the UAE’s National Disinfection Programme take place daily from 8pm-6am. RTA has directed people to head to the station 30 minutes before their trip. All passengers must mandatorily wear a face mask while commuting. The last service from Al Rashidiya Station to UAE Exchange Station will leave at 7.54pm on the Red Line. The last service from UAE Exchange Station to Al Rashidiya Station will leave at 7.53pm. On the Green Line, the last daily train will depart from the terminal Creek station at 8.21pm and from Etisalat Station at the other end of the line at 8.20pm. There will be 54 trains on the Red Line and 17 on the Green Line during peak hours, spaced 2.38 minutes from each other on the Red Line and five minutes apart on the Green Line. Bus: All buses in the emirate will be operational from 6am-8pm. From 8pm-6am, only select bus services will operate for hospital visits only. These routes include: 8: Gold Souq Bus Station 13,Ibn Battuta Metro Station 7 10: Al Quoz, Bus Station 6,Gold Souq Bus Station 1 12: Al Ghubaiba Bus Station,Al Quoz, Bus Station 3 13A: Gold Souq Bus Station 11,Qusais, Bus Station 7 17: Muhaisnah 4, Wasl Oasis II,Sabkha, Bus Station 2 24: Al Nahda, The Sheffeild Private School 1,International City, Greece K12 Terminus 2 C01: Airport Terminal 3,Satwa, Bus Station 5 C07: Abu Hail Metro Station 2,Union Metro Station C 2,Wafi Residences F18: Oud Metha Metro Station Terminus F21: Al Nahda Metro Station 2 F34: Dubai Internet City Metro Station to Dubai Production City F43: Ibn Battuta Metro Station 6 X23: Gold Souq Bus Station 12,International City, Greece K12 Terminus 1 Taxis: Taxis will operate as usual between 8pm-6am. Passengers must wear face masks and sit in the back seat. The number of passengers is also limited to two. Only essential trips will be allowed in taxis from 8pm-6am. Marine Transport: Marine transport will operate across Dubai from 8.30am-7pm. These services exclude marine services in Dubai Water Canal, the Ferry service between Al Ghubaiba Station and Sharjah Aquarium Station and recreational marine services. Trams: Dubai Tram will resume its daily journeys and will be operational from 7am-9pm, with face masks mandatory while commuting on trams. Intercity Buses: Intercity buses are suspended until further notice.
