Home Industry Media Omnicom Media Group MENA appoints new CEO Elda Choucair, who was serving as the group’s COO, will take on the role of chief executive by Gulf Business June 15, 2021 Omnicom Media Group MENA has appointed Elda Choucair as its new CEO, it announced on Monday. Elie Khouri – who temporarily held the CEO position – will now concentrate on his role of chairman, a statement said. The group’s previous CEO Nadim Samara left last year. Elda Choucair, who was serving as the group’s COO, has worked at Omnicom Media Group for 15 years, and previously held positions at OMD and led PHD for over 10 years. In her most recent role as COO, she was focused heavily on the group’s response to the impact of the pandemic. Choucair will now assume full control of all OMG MENA operations and will continue to report to Khouri, who founded OMG two decades ago. She will also continue to serve as the vice chair of the Advertising Business Group, board member of the IAB GCC, and the IAA UAE chapter, and a founding board member of the Unstereotype Alliance. “Navigating complexity and ambiguity certainly makes leadership exciting and rewarding in equal measures,” said Choucair. “Our industry, in the midst of a deep and rapid transformation, provides plenty of both and if we are to make complex simpler and better for our clients, we owe it to them to start with ourselves. We’ve already had plenty of opportunity to innovate and adapt to new conditions of course so we’re well used to questioning and challenging the status quo. We’re ready for what lies ahead.” Tags Advertising CEO Dubai Elda Choucair Elie Khouri Media Omnicom Media Group MENA 0 Comments You might also like Taxi-sharing pilot service launches between Dubai, Abu Dhabi New Dhs1bn fund targets reshaping UAE health, wellness How Dubai’s Dhs16bn mega road development plan will ease traffic Salik’s new toll gates: here’s where you’ll start paying from Nov 24
