A new luxury hotel, The St. Regis Dubai, The Palm, which occupies the first 18 floors of 52-storey The Palm Tower was opened on Thursday.

There are 264 guest rooms and 26 suites with expansive views of the Palm Jumeirah, the Arabian Gulf and the Dubai skyline through the floor-to-ceiling windows.

The new property on the Palm will feature the Regis Butler Service, which allows each guest to customise their stay according to personal tastes and preferences.

The corridors and gathering spaces of the hotel feature a curated art collection including contemporary artwork and paintings.

Among the culinary offerings at the hotel, it includes Cordelia which serves premium cuts of meat and seafood sourced from around the world.

The iconic St. Regis Bar meanwhile extends the legacy of the King Cole Bar at the brand’s flagship property at 55th and Fifth Avenue in New York City, where the world-renowned Bloody Mary cocktail was born in 1934.

Poolside, another restaurant, the Dip Pool Bar, has accompanying scenic views of Dubai’s skyline.

The St. Regis Spa at the hotel will offers bespoke signature treatments including the Signature Gold Journey, which uses 24k gold as part of the treatment.

The Palm Tower is connected to the Nakheel Mall which offers shopping and entertainment options in close proximity to the hotel. On the 52nd floor of the tower, The View at The Palm is an observation deck that rests 240 metres above the island and offers 360-degree views of Palm Jumeirah.

The downtown property will expand Marriott’s luxury footprint across the UAE, where it currently operates 17 properties and more than 6,000 rooms.
