Dr Amina Al Rustamani Al Rustamani is a well-regarded female business leader and key figure in the development of Dubai’s free zones. She started her career in 2001, as a project engineer at Dubai Media City rising up the ranks to eventually become CEO of TECOM Group. She started her career in 2001, as a project engineer at Dubai Media City rising up the ranks to eventually become CEO of TECOM Group. Most recently, she has dedicated her efforts to improving the emirate’s credentials as a fashion hub. She founded the Dubai Design and Fashion Council, where she serves as chairman, and last year opened the fashion-dedicated Dubai Design District free zone. Outside of these positions, she is a board member of a number of Dubai entities and an acknowledged authority on wireless technology.
