Like most years, 2016 saw its fair share of headlines, including DP World raising its stake in South Korean terminal Pusan Newport Company, signing a partnership with CDPQ to create a $3.7bn investment platform, and signing an MoU to develop logistics in Ukraine. And that’s only since October. Also in October the company announced a multi-million dollar investment in US-based high-speed travel company Hyperloop One, which could reduce travel time between Dubai and Abu Dhabi to 12 minutes.
