Born to a Saudi Arabian father and an Egyptian mother, Al Amoudi owns an extensive portfolio of businesses in construction, energy, agriculture, mining, hotels, healthcare and manufacturing, most found in the conglomerates Corral Petroleum Holdings and MIDROC both of which he owns and manages. A generous philanthropist, Al Amoudi funded a breast cancer centre at King Abdulaziz University and is said to fund a number of healthcare and sports facilities in Africa, the US, Europe and Saudi Arabia, where he currently resides as a citizen.
