Rami Malek, an American actor of Egyptian origin, is known for his immersive portrayals of a diverse range of characters, notably hacker Elliot Alderson in the critically acclaimed TV series Mr Robot for which he received the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series. He also portrayed legendary rock star Freddie Mercury in the biopic Bohemian Rhapsody for which he won an Academy Award for best actor.

Malek has etched his name in the cinematic history books by playing a villain in the James Bond franchise. More recently, he was cast in Chrisopher Nolan’s acclaimed blockbuster Oppenheimer (2023), which won the award for the Best Film at the 2024 Oscars.
