Ataya launched a new digital healthcare platform Pharmaciaty in Saudi Arabia in 2023, leveraging the capabilities of Mumzworld.com and Tamer Group’s more than 100 years of operations in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry. She plans to expand the digital healthcare platform’s operations into the UAE in Q1 2024.

Before being an entrepreneur, Ataya worked for several multinational companies including Procter & Gamble and Johnson & Johnson. Ataya co-founded Mumzworld in 2011, but prior to establishing the e-commerce platform, she was part of a group of entrepreneurs who founded the job portal and online recruitment platform Bayt.com.

The e-commerce platform sold a majority stake to Tamer Group in June 2021 and Ataya assumed the role of group CEO for all digital assets within the group. Today, the platform serves 2.5 million customers with over 350,000 products.
