Dubai Police marked a significant milestone with the graduation of the UAE’s first female land rescue team, consisting of 18 non-commissioned officers.
High-ranking officials, including Lieutenant General Abdulla Khalifa Al Marri, commander-in-chief of Dubai Police, and other senior officers attended the ceremony.
Lieutenant Al Marri emphasised Dubai Police’s dedication to empowering women in security and military sectors, stating that the new female team will enhance the force’s capabilities in land rescue operations.

“Emirati women play a crucial role in the nation’s development, and their presence in our police force strengthens the overall system,” Lieutenant Al Marri said.
Major General Abdullah Ali Al Ghaithi, assistant commandant for Operations Affairs, commended the graduates for their high level of competence demonstrated during intensive training courses that simulated real-life rescue scenarios.
The graduation featured a series of rescue demonstrations, including road accident response and the use of advanced equipment.
