Health and fitness products in high demand due to Covid-19

Health and fitness have been brought to sharp focus in the wake of Covid-19. And since this is 2020, tracking fitness goals, and sharing with friends, is almost as important as the actual exercise.

The last few weeks have seen a flurry of smartwatch releases, with wearables from Samsung, Fitbit, Amazon and more.

The latest is Huawei, which has released two variants of its ‘Watch’ series, including its first rectangular-shaped wearable, the Watch Fit.

The Fit comes with a 1.64-inch AMOLED display with 326 PPI and 16.7 million colour gamut. You can customise the face with more than 130 designs to choose from.

The battery life is impressive, lasting up to 10 days on a single charge with all the features running, including health monitoring. Meanwhile, thanks to support for Huawei’s fast charging technology, you can charge the watch to up to 70 per cent in just half an hour.

For those who wear smartwatches as an everyday accessory, the Watch Fit comes with alerts for incoming calls and messages, remote camera shutter, music playback control, event reminders and even a Find your Phone feature.

The Huawei Watch Fit is the brand’s first rectangular wearable.

The flagship of the series, the new Huawei Watch GT 2 Pro offers up to two weeks of battery life, more than 100 workout modes, plus pro-level fitness data tracking features.

Huawei has also introduced new workout modes including skiing, cross country skiing, snowboarding and golf driving range.

The new flagship smartwatch launches with premium materials, including a sapphire watch crystal, titanium case and skin-friendly ceramic case back.

The watches feature the updated Huawei TruSeen 4.0 heart rate technology which provides more accurate, 24-hour heart monitoring to track changes in blood oxygen, sleep and stress conditions. All the data is also analysed to generate fitness advice for users.
