For those looking to purchase a desktop PC for office or business use, durability and stability are two of the most pertinent considerations.

ASUS’ most recent launches, the ASUS ExpertCenter D7 series and ASUS A3402, are said to perform at high levels, offering great durability and stable performance.

Let’s have an in-depth look at the devices.

ASUS ExpertCenter D7 series

With a choice of three chassis sizes, the series allows businesses of all sizes to customise hardware specifications that meet their requirements, giving them the freedom to grow and change as they see fit.

The ASUS ExpertCenter D700SD features a compact design and has a nine-litre chassis that can be placed either vertically or horizontally. It has a stylish and modern small-form-factor chassis that can either stand vertically or horizontally and has been designed to complement any workspace.

The motherboards in this series have been subjected to various intensive durability tests and feature all-solid-state capacitors, as well as the ASUS 5X Protection III system.

In addition to reducing overhead costs, hardware configuration can be tailored to meet specific job requirements, allowing users to work more efficiently.

The series of ASUS ExpertCenters is equipped with up to 12th generation Intel Core i7-12700 processors, a B660 chipset, up to 128GB DDR4 3200 MHz memory and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX3060 graphics card with 12GB GDDR6 VRAM. As far as the units are concerned, users can choose from a variety of options, such as M.2 SSD and SATA HDDs. Moreover, there is also the option of placing an optical drive within the space available.

Regarding connectivity, it also offers a wide range of options, including PS/2, USB 3.2 Gen Type-C, USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A, USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A, and USB 2.0, as well as two 3.5mm audio jacks. Additionally, there are DisplayPort, HDMI, and VGA ports on the device, which can be used to connect up to three displays without having to purchase a graphics card separately.

Furthermore, the ASUS ExpertCenter D700SD motherboard features four USB 3.0/3.0×16 slots, one PCIe 3.0×16 slot supporting up to 128GB of DDR4 3200MHz memory, two PCIe 3.0×1 slots, and one M.2 slot that can accommodate a WiFi module. In terms of storage, it has two M.2 slots and four SATA 6Gbps connectors that can support hard drives up to 3.5″ and 2.5″ as well as optical disc drives.

Premium 100 per cent solid-state capacitors are used to ensure a more durable and stable motherboard.

The laptop’s chassis has a tool-free design, so you can easily open it without the need to use any tools to do so. The HDD and ODD can also be easily pulled out with fingers. This saves both time and effort, making it easier to upgrade components and do routine maintenance on them.

ASUS ExpertCenter comes with a suite of optional software that allows IT managers to monitor and manage it efficiently.

Meanwhile, the Link to MyASUS is a handy tool included in the MyASUS app to integrate your PC with your phone. The application is designed to allow users to share files quickly and wirelessly across devices, control their phones remotely from their PCs, or access local PC files remotely from their phones.

Users can leave their mobile devices in their pockets or desk and still enjoy full phone functionality.

ASUS A3402

The ASUS 3402 features a dual-storage design and an Intel Core i7 processor up to 12th Gen, and the dual-band WiFi 6 provides a superfast, stable wireless connection.

The device is slim and light and has an FHD touchscreen display with a resolution of 23.8 inches. It also includes exclusive ASUS Splendid technology to ensure true-to-life colours.

The slim-bezel NanoEdge design results in an up to 88 per cent screen-to-body ratio for expansive productivity. The broad display benefits from a 100 per cent sRGB colour gamut and 178-degree wide-view technology. The ASUS SonicMaster Premium audio system is also equipped with Dolby Atmos and two-way AI-powered Noise-Canceling technology.

The noise-cancelling technology has a sophisticated machine-learning algorithm employed in order to capture and remove background noise. As part of the technology, there is both an upstream function that filters noise around the speaker and a downstream function that eliminates noise coming from the person on the other end of the phone call.

Furthermore, the ASUS A3402 is able to cope with a wide range of workloads due to its performance and efficiency cores. In addition, its dual-storage design allows for ultrafast read and write speeds for smooth creativity and productivity, as well as a large capacity for storing photos and videos to be easily accessed.

Loaded with the latest connectivity, it includes an HDMI-in port, four USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports, an HDMI-out port and an SD card reader.

All in all, ASUS’ solutions offer stable performance, increased energy efficiency and improved long-term cost savings.
