As for reliability and durability, the D500SC has met the stringent MIL-STD 810 H standard. As part of the testing regime, 11 extended tests were conducted for operation in harsh environments, including extreme altitudes, temperatures and humidity.

The newly launched device is powered by 11th Gen Intel Core i7 processor with up to 32GB DDR4 3200MHz memory and NVIDIA GeForce GT 1030 GPU. Additionally, the ASUS motherboards in the device incorporate the brand’s 5X Protection III, which enables the device to deliver a stable amount of power. Overvoltage protection, corrosion protection, a stable power supply and stainless steel I/O are also included in Protection III.

The device has also passed over 8000 hours of testing designed to detect problems such as current or short circuits, providing assurance of 24/7 reliability. It has also tested thousands of devices to ensure that these motherboards are compatible with a wide variety of hardware or external devices.

In terms of connectivity, the front panel offers four USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports, headphone jacks and a full-size SD card reader. The power button and a tray-load DVD burner are at the top.

The device’s internal steel case accommodates two storage devices and has PCIe slots for adding extra graphics cards and I/O ports.

Prevents overheating

This system comprises dedicated, isolated air chambers for the main thermal generators of the PC – the CPU, GPUs and power supplies. As an added convenience, it includes MyASUS app, which automatically modifies the speeds of the CPU and system fans and turns them off completely when possible to achieve maximum performance with the least amount of noise.
