GCC Covid-19 update: UAE reports 1,089 cases; 664 infections registered in Oman

UAE
The health ministry has registered new 1,089 infections, additional 1,769 recoveries and two deaths in the last 24 hours.

The new cases were detected as a result of 115,258 screenings, conducted to screen for the virus.

The registered infection count has risen to 102,929, including 93,479 recoveries and 438 fatalities.

Oman
The sultanate has registered 664 new coronavirus cases, 402 additional recoveries and nine deaths in the preceding 24 hours.

The total cases in the country have now reached 104,129 including 91,731 recoveries and 1,009 deaths, Times of Oman reported.

Qatar
The Ministry of Public Health has registered 213 new cases and 219 recoveries in the last 24 hours.
