Around 50 parking spaces will be allocated near each of the existing vaccination centres and potentially future ones, RTA tweeted. #RTA announced free parking spaces for vaccination centres’ visitors in the Emirate. These parking bays will remain in place until all eligible Dubai residents are vaccinated. RTA has placed informational signs near the free parking lots at the vaccination centers, to facilitate visitor access. As of May 25, a total of 128,858 doses of the Covid-19 vaccine were given in the preceding 24 hours, the country’s health ministry has confirmed. The total number of doses provided up to yesterday stands at 12,294,706 with a rate of vaccine distribution of 124.31 doses per 100 people, official news agency WAM reported. The national vaccination campaign has resulted in 78.11 per cent of eligible population over 16 receiving the vaccine, and 84.59 per cent of people aged over 60 have been administered their jab too. Meanwhile, the UAE reported 1,672 cases of the coronavirus infection on Tuesday, May 25, scaling the overall count to 559,291.
