On March 16, the Abu Dhabi government announced a massive stimulus package aimed at shoring up the economy and supporting businesses that included provisions for suspending all road tolls until the end of 2020 and exempting commercial vehicles from annual registration fees also until the end of 2020. Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) tweeted on Friday, March 27, that public parking across the emirate would be free from 8pm until 6am the following day during the ongoing national sterlisation programme. The programme ends on the morning of April 5.
