The diversion of flights will be during the northern runway refurbishment project at Dubai International, the company said in a statement. The closure, which will be during the aforementioned dates, is to carry out a complete refurbishment of the runway. Passengers are advised to check their departure and arrival airports in advance of travel to ensure seamless travel. The information is available on the carrier’s website and will be mentioned on the booking confirmations. Passengers travelling from DWC will enjoy complimentary parking at the airport. In addition, the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) will provide a complimentary bus service between all terminals at DXB and DWC every 30 minutes. The carrier has also been expanding its network. Last month, it announced the launch of a new service to Izmir in Turkey, starting June 26. The carrier will also operate summer seasonal routes to Bodrum (BJV) and Trabzon (TZX) from June 23 to offer passengers more options to travel this summer. Additionally, its services to Gassim will also resume on May 1 with a daily flight.
