In a statement issued on its website on Thursday, it said that the last flights to its three South African gateways will be on January 15. The schedule for these flights is as follows: Dubai-Cape Town EK772 on January 15 Dubai-Johannesburg-Durban EK775 on January 15 Dubai-Johannesburg EK763 on January 15 The airline added that customers holding tickets with their final destinations in South Africa will not be accepted for travel at their point of origin from January 16-28. Scientists in South Africa have reported a strain of the Covid-19 virus in the country that is believed to be more contagious than that found in other parts of the world.
