Home UAE Abu Dhabi Eid Al Adha: No toll, free public parking in Abu Dhabi during the holidays Public buses will operate an additional 100 trips every day on main routes during the holidays by Aarti Nagraj July 15, 2021 Abu Dhabi has waived road tolls (Darb) for all motorists during the Eid Al Adha holidays starting Monday, July 19. Toll gate charges will resume on Saturday, July 24, during usual peak hours from 7am to 9am and from 5pm to 7pm, the Integrated Transport Centre (ITC) announced. Public parking spaces in the emirate will also be free of charge during the Eid holidays from Monday, July 19 until Thursday, July 22, the ITC confirmed. Additionally, Mussafah Industrial area parking lot M18 will be free of charge during the official holiday. It also urged the public to adhere to the regulations regarding the resident permit parking bays from 9pm to 8am. During the Eid Al Adha holidays, buses will operate an additional 100 trips every day on main routes to meet public demand and avoid overcrowding. Public bus users have been requested to follow the precautionary measures and use Darbi app to check trips timings and avoid waiting in the bus shelters. Timings will follow Friday and official holidays schedule. Ferry services will continue to operate between Dalma Island and Jebel Al Dhanna port, and between Saadiyat and Al Aliah Islands, ITC said. Meanwhile its Customer Happiness Centres will be closed from Monday until Sunday, 25 July 2021. Dubai and Sharjah have also announced that public parking will be free during the Eid holidays.
