The authority confirmed that all these educational institutions will be closed from Monday, April 8, to Sunday, April 14. All private schools, universities and nurseries in Dubai will be closed from Monday, April 8 to Sunday, April 14. Regular working hours will resume from Monday, April 15. With the addition of Eid Al Fitr holidays, the break extends to a total of nine days, offering ample time for relaxation and festivities. Regular classes are scheduled to resume from Monday, April 15, marking the end of the Eid Al Fitr holiday period. The announcement aligns with the cultural significance of Eid Al Fitr, which marks the end of Ramadan, the holy month of fasting observed by Muslims worldwide. Extended Spring Break The Eid al Fitr break which has been bookended to the Spring Break, which has meant a holiday bonanza for school kids this year. The Spring Break for all schools in Dubai is traditionally a two-week holiday but has now been combined with the Eid holiday which means that educational institutions are off for a lengthy three weeks, spanning from Monday, March 25 to Sunday, April 14, 2024.
