According to the emirate’s transport authority, key routes will be shut from 9:30 PM to 1:00 AM on the above days for the 11th edition of the NAS Sports Tournament 2024. The closure will extend until the Nad Al Hamar Road intersection. The RTA advised Dubai residents to “plan your trips and use alternative routes to reach your destinations easily”, as the roads along the race track will be closed. Nad Al Sheba Sports Tournament The cycling race is part of the Nad Al Sheba Sports Tournament and has been organised by the Dubai Sports Council. The sports tourney is the biggest event of its kind and takes place every year during the holy month of Ramadan. This year the competition includes multiple categories — padel tennis, running, cycling, volleyball, wheelchair basketball, jiu-jitsu and more — welcoming hopefuls of all ages and athletic abilities.
