Emirates Integrated Telecommunications Company (EITC), operating under the brand du, successfully concluded the second edition of the Envision ICT event, held under the patronage of Digital Dubai.

Envision 2024, themed “Gathering Leaders for Progress with AI-Driven Digitalisation”, witnessed strategic partnerships and discussions on the future of artificial intelligence (AI), 5G, cloud computing and smart cities.

The event aimed to align with the UAE’s strategic vision for technological progression, featuring high-profile discussions led by prominent figures such as Hamad Obaid Al Mansoori.

His insights emphasised Dubai’s mission to establish itself as a leading AI-driven city, while du’s leadership, including CEO Fahad Al Hassawi and research analyst Achilles Drettas, shared actionable strategies to maximise cloud investments.

“Envision 2024 embarked on a journey to not just imagine, but to architect a future where technology serves as the backbone of economic prosperity, ethical innovation, and societal advancement,” stated Al Hassawi.

He noted that the discussions held at the event aim to propel the UAE closer to its leadership’s visionary goals, particularly regarding digital sovereignty and AI excellence.

du hosts launch event for iPhone

In other news, du hosted an exclusive launch event for Apple’s iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max on September 20, at the Bulgari Hotel in Dubai.
