5 things to know about Amazon’s longest ever Prime Day sale in the UAE

Amazon is set to make waves in the UAE with its longest Prime Day event ever, offering an extended period of exceptional deals and discounts. The annual Prime Day event, exclusive to Prime members, will span six full days this summer, from July 16 to July 21, marking a first for the region.

A recent study by Amazon highlights a growing trend among UAE shoppers, who are increasingly seeking greater savings and faster delivery options.

Reflecting this demand, the extended Prime Day event promises deep discounts across more than 30 product categories, as per an Amazon release. These categories include electronics, gaming, fashion, beauty, grocery items, kitchen and home goods, health and sports products, and Amazon devices.

Deals and savings

In 2023, Amazon customers worldwide saved nearly $24bn from deals and coupons, with Prime members accounting for over $2.5bn of those savings during Prime Day alone. This year, with 79 per cent of UAE shoppers actively looking for sales and discounts when making online purchases, the extended Prime Day event aims to exceed consumer expectations.

Prime members in the UAE will have access to an extensive range of deals from top local and international brands such as Nivea, Samsung, Skechers, Guess, Joseph & Joseph, Cetaphil, Nespresso, Black+Decker, Microsoft, Lenovo, Lego, OnePlus, Anker, and Roborock.

Additionally, members can take advantage of Prime Day deals from Amazon US, UK, and Germany through the Amazon.ae Global Store, enjoying free international shipping with no minimum purchase required.
