Home GCC UAE Air Arabia to launch new service from Sharjah to Uganda The direct flights will be operated thrice weekly on Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays by Varun Godinho September 14, 2021 UAE carrier Air Arabia will launch a new service from Sharjah to Entebbe in Uganda starting on October 10, 2021. The direct flights will be operated thrice weekly on Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. It will depart from Sharjah at 9am and arrive in Entebbe at 1.35pm. The return flight will depart at 2.15pm and arrive in Sharjah at 9pm. Bookings for the flight have opened, with one-way price prices from Sharjah starting at around Dhs770. In related developments for the airline, it has recently partnered with two entities to form low-cost carriers in Pakistan and Armenia. Armenia’s new national airline, set to be launched by a joint venture company between Armenian National Interests Fund (ANIF) and UAE’s Air Arabia Group, will be named Fly Arna. ANIF and Air Arabia Group had announced the agreement to launch Armenia’s new national airline in July 2021. The proposed JV will see the establishment of a low-cost passenger airline serving domestic and international routes from Pakistan.
